08 Jul A significant enrichment of data and analysis in REMPLAN Economy
From snapshots, to monitoring the performance of local economies

REMPLAN Economy datasets were updated this month following the release by the ABS of new Input-Output tables. These tables are published annually, providing labour productivity updates, detailed insights into supply-chain linkages between Australian industries, and industries’ expenditure on imported goods and services.
This update also includes annual time-series estimates back to 2016 for:
- Employment
- Wages and salaries
- Labour productivity
- Output
- Local sales / expenditure
- Regional exports / imports
- Value-added / Gross Regional Product.
This is now a standard inclusion in REMPLAN Economy datasets, marking a significant enrichment of the data and analysis. It represents a shift from economic snapshots, to a greater focus on monitoring the performance of local economies over time.

How is your local economy performing?
The expanded platform of time-series economic performance data provides a foundation for new analysis and reporting in REMPLAN Economy. With a focus on simplicity and accessibility, new Insights Reports will be incorporated into your REMPLAN software in the coming months. These will be a great downloadable resource for internal Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting, and for sharing with wider executive teams, businesses and investors.
