Box Hill is one of the largest Metropolitan Activity Centres in Melbourne and is firmly established as a major growth centre for the eastern suburbs. Box Hill is home to more than 4,000 residents in the activity centre alone, with a high level of cultural diversity and a considerable proportion born overseas, in particular China. With a name that is widely recognised many prospective residents, businesses, investors and service providers seek information online about ‘Box Hill’, rather than the broader region or municipality of which it is a part of.
